  1. Wonderful are your statutes, LORD,
    so my soul keeps your wise commands.
    As they unfold, your words give light,
    teaching the truth to simple ones.
  2. I open wide my mouth and pant;
    O how I long to know your ways.
    As with all those who love your name,
    turn unto me and show your grace.
  3. Make firm my footsteps in your word;
    let no corruption rule my way.
    Free me from man’s oppressive pow’r,
    that your commands I may obey.
  4. LORD, on your servant shine your face;
    teach me the statutes you have made.
    Rivers of tears stream down my face,
    for your commands are not obeyed.
